Avviso di indizione di 1 procedura di valutazione comparativa per la copertura di 1 posizione di Post-Doctoral Fellow. (Decreto direttoriale n. DD 03150(243).VII.5.10.09.12).
Si rende noto che, con il Decreto Direttoriale n. DD
03150(243).VII.5.10.09.12 presso IMT Alti Studi Lucca, istituto
statale di istruzione universitaria di alta formazione dottorale con
ordinamento speciale, e' stata indetta una procedura di valutazione
comparativa per una posizione di Post-Doctoral Fellow con le seguenti
specifiche:
Econometrics and Statistics - 1 Post Doctoral Fellow Position
Fields: Econometrics, Statistics, Database Analysis
Activity: Research, tutorship and mentoring of the Institute's
Ph.D. students, limited teaching and participation in the development
of the Institute's research activities, with a focus on the analysis
of large economic and financial datasets.
Research Area:Economics and Institutional Change
Research Unit: LIME - Laboratory of Innovation Management and
Economics
Formal Requirements: Possession of a degree in a related field.
An excellent level of both written and spoken English is mandatory.
Specific Requirements: A Ph.D. in Econometrics or Statistics is
preferable. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in:
quantitative analysis of large data sets with proficiency in
the use of econometric methods;
empirical analysis of statistical distribution properties with
parametric and nonparametric methods.
These skills are crucial for a complete study and coordination of
the project tasks. Good knowledge of Matlab, SQL e STATA is
preferable. Candidates must have an excellent record of high-impact
international publications and excellent communication skills.
Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for performing applied
research in an interdisciplinary Research Unit.
Duration: One year renewable yearly, for a maximum of three total
years
